About Crusty Grunt Cycles

Dave Hagar joined the United States Army in August of 2001 and served for 13 years. He was deployed to two tours as an Infantryman in Iraq, and two tours as an Apache helicopter crew chief in Afghanistan. After three years as a reserves Drill Sergeant, Dave was honorably discharged in 2014 as an E6 Staff Sergeant.

 

Upon his honorable discharge from the Army, Dave went back to school to study motorcycle repair at Motorcycle Mechanics Institute, specializing in Harley Davidson repair and maintenance. During this time, he was a Fleet Supervisor at Waste Management and a Porter at Arrowhead Harley Davidson.

 

Dave Graduated from Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in the Harley Davidson Program at the top of his class and moved back to Tennessee to work at Harley Davidson of Cool Springs in the Parts Department.

 

After his father passed away in 2018, Dave decided to pursue his dream of owning his own shop and opened Crusty Grunt Cycles in February of 2019.

 

Dave has been married to his wife since 2004 and enjoys being the father of two great kids.
